Key Responsibilities

• Prepare teaching content and conduct lectures to students to impart skills and knowledge necessary for job market, self-employment and generate income to the college
• Prepare training materials and schemes of work for trainees to ensure the facilitation of effective and efficient training
• Design and deliver specialized training programmes for students and farmers to enhance community development, corporate social responsibility and to generate income for the college
•   Carry out research under the guidance of a senior lecturer for generation of new knowledge for the college, the community and self-career development
• Supervise students research projects to assess their ability to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the course of training
• Conduct seminars and workshops to the community and students to disseminate knowledge and skills and generate income to the college
• Supervise practical demonstrations and assessing performance of the instructors and technologists for effective and progressive training
• Assess performance of students by setting and administering examinations to determine concept understanding and allow for progression of the student to the next academic level
•  Mark and award of grades to students for purpose of evaluation leading to final awarding of academic certificates.
• Participate in production of educational materials for students’ self-acquisition of knowledge as per the requirements of the curriculum
• Guide and counsel students in academics and social welfare to build the academic excellence and good character development of the students
