Job Description
A Supply Chain Specialist coordinates and optimizes the end-to-end flow of goods, services, and information. They manage procurement, track inventory, streamline logistics, and ensure materials are delivered on time and within budget.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement: Source reliable vendors, negotiate contracts, and process purchase orders to ensure material availability.Â
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track product movement, and execute inventory controls to prevent shortages or overstock.Â
- Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate transportation schedules, manage shipping routes, and track shipments to ensure on-time and cost-effective deliveries.Â
- Performance Tracking: Analyze supply chain KPIs (e.g., inventory accuracy, delivery time, waste reduction) and report operational variances to management.Â
- Problem Solving: Resolve supply chain disruptions, delays, or quality concerns quickly to maintain smooth operations
